Nightmare Before Christmas is undoubtedly Tim Burton’s most famous movie. Loved by all ages and walks of life. And we totally get why. With laughs, scares and catchy songs, written by the one and only Danny Elfman, how could you not?!

The film was released in 1993, 5 years after Tim Burton’s other massive cult classic Beetlejuice. This perfect animation took 2 years to make with 120 workers doing their best to bring the world this much loved treasure.

The film was written by Burton but Directed by Henry Selick who also directed Coraline. You can see the influences of all three Burton, Selick and Elfman. A perfect combination of dark, theatrical minds coming together to show the world we can find hope in anything if we put our minds to it (even if it doesn’t work out for the better).
