Poison Skull Mug from Widdop

This ceramic mug is taken from the Disney film Snow White. Snow white was the first of all the Disney princesses and is loved by old and young alike.

Snow White was released in 1937, a story originally told by Brother Grimm. But Disney gave it the magic it deserved. A story of a young girl, growing up with her wicked step mother who envies Snow White’s beauty. The evil queen step mother asks her huntsman to kill Snow White in the woods so that she can be considered the fairest of them all. The huntsman can’t follow through with the request and lets Snow run free.

She finds a small house that belongs to the 7 dwarves, cleans it up and is offered a place to stay. They grow fond of her and try to protect her from the evil queen trying to find her. Unfortunately she is found and the evil queen, dressed as a poor old woman, entices Snow to try one of the juicy apples she has for sale. This apple is poisoned and Snow falls into a deep coma which can only be broken by loves true kiss.

Prince Charming eventually comes t the rescue and awakens Snow and whisks her away. Happily ever after.

Luckily Disney didn’t cover the ending Grimm had!
